CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City--The Armed Forces of the Philippines will submit a letter to the German Embassy and the Bureau of Immigration about the misbehavior of German national who introduced himself as Mr Marc Sueselbeck.
This pertains to the incident that happened at around 4 p.m. yesterday (October 22) wherein Mr Sueselbeck entered an off-limits area, the MDB-SEB facility, where PFC Pemberton is currently being held.
In doing so, Sueselbeck violated Presidential Decree No. 1227, or the law PunishingUnlawful Entry into Any Military Base in the Philippines.
On the other hand, Sueselbeck assaulted a person in authority, the on-duty Filipino soldier guarding the holding facility. He forcefully shoved said soldier after climbing theperimeter fence.
We also like to ascertain through the German Embassy the true identity and pertinentbackground information about Mr Sueselbeck whose misbehavior caught the attention of Philippine authorities.
The assaulted soldier has undergone medical check-up at the Camp Aguinaldo Station Hospital. Likewise, a detailed narrative report about the intrusion incident will be submitted to the German Embassy.
It is understood that any foreign nationals who visit the Philippines shall follow Philippine laws. The AFP will deal with the incident accordingly through proper channels.
