FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City, (DWDD) –– To show support to the initiatives of various organizations and individuals in advocating for good governance in the Philippines, the Philippine Army will partake in this year’s freedom run dubbed as “I am Free from Corruption” on October 19, 5:00 am at CCP Complex, Pasay City.
100 soldiers to compose the Philippine Army contingent will join other participants in the 3K and 10K running categories that aim to raise awareness on freedom from corruption to more Filipinos.
Organized by a German institution, Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), the freedom run is no ordinary run. In its fourth year of advocacy, it has contributed in creating awareness for a better governance in the Philippines. This sustains and strengthens the call for a corruption-free country.
National Youth Commission (NYC) Commissioner Dingdong Dantes, Singer/Composer Noel Cabangon and Congresswoman Leni Robredo will also support this meaningful event.
The participation of Army soldiers in this advocacy event is a manifestation of the Philippine Army’s commitment in pursuing good governance and corruption-free Philippines.
