Villamor Airbase, Pasay city (DWDD) - The Commanding General, Philippine Air Force, Lt Gen Jeffrey F Delgado AFP spearheaded the opening ceremony of breakthrough session of the development of the PAF Flight Plan 2028 last August 13, 2014 at the Hall of Flags, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.
The development of the Flight Plan will be facilitated by the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA) chaired by Dr. Jesus P. Estanislao, who was also present during the opening ceremony.
The PAF Flight Plan, which is aligned with the AFP Transformation Roadmap shall serve as the authoritative foundation document that will provide the enabling milestones to the SOAR HIGH PAF Command Thrust and future leadership thrusts.
In his speech, the CG, PAF remarked, “Today’s initial or breakthrough session marks the start of our alignment effort with the rest of the AFP. Through the activities initiated by ISA, we will not only become enlightened with the Performance Governance System (PGS); but also, we can identify the breakthrough goals that frame the strategy map and scorecard.
These goals can be related to our function of organizing, training and equipping air forces to perform the AFP mission. Given the track record of ISA, I am fully confident that we can achieve outstanding results in these areas that will directly translate to operational effectiveness in our core mission of warfighting and humanitarian assistance and disaster response.”
ISA has a proven track record in advancing governance-centered strategies in the public sector and the military. ISA’s record speaks for itself not only with its 40 institutional partners that have adopted its Governance Scorecard but also with its long time affiliation with the AFP beginning with the Philippine Military Academy eight years ago followed in succession by the Philippine Navy, the Philippine Army and the General Headquarters.
