NPA member surrenders

NPA MEMBER SURRENDER

CAMP GEN MATEO CAPINPIN, Tanay, Rizal (DWDD) –  With the sincere implementation of Comprehensive Local Integration Program (CLIP), AFP Guns for Peace, and 74IB Balik Pamayanan Program, a member of New People’s Army named Nelmar D Cortez a.k.a Ronnie surrendered to the folds of the government voluntarily on March 15, 2015 at 11am.

Ka Ronnie who is an NPA member of SPN Unknown, GU2 SQ-BP also surrendered one (1) Cal. 45, one (1) Cal. 38 revolver and two (2) magazines with 12 rounds of live ammunition for cal. 45.

Troops of 74IB headed by LTC Consolito A Yecla INF (GSC) PA facilitated the said surrender at Brgy Cawayan 1, San Francisco, Quezon.

Presently, ka Ronnie is under the protection of 74IB for his security and fast facilitation of benefits and financial assistance in order for him to start a new and peaceful life.

Ka Ronnie is just one among other rebels who adopted to withdraw their armed struggle for them to be with their families and love ones.
