EVEN HEROES NEED HEROES. Make this year’s National Heroes’ Day Celebration a memorable one. Join us celebrate through a back to back concert and fun run events.
Join HERO Foundation, Inc together with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Army, Air Force, Navy and the Marines, commemorate and give honor to our heroes of the past and the present. Everybody is enjoined to be with us in this national holiday celebration.
‘SALUDO-A Concert for Heroes’ featuring HERO Ambassadors, some of the country’s known talents and the military bands will be held at the Market! Market! Activity Center on August 23, 2014 (Saturday) from 2:00PM to 9:00PM to celebrate in advance, this year’s National Heroes’ Day which is on August 25, 2014 (Monday). A registration booth for the ‘Run for Heroes’ will be available on the concert venue.
‘Run for HEROES’ on the other hand is a fun-run to commemorate the sacrifices of our heroes of the past and present and every runner’s opportunity to run for their heroes. The ‘HERO’ you run for can be anyone you deem fit of the honor. Your teacher, father, mother, grandparenrs, police officer, a friend, a stranger, a soldier, etc..
Run for your HERO and give him the utmost honor her truly deserves this National Heroes’ Day. Make this day not just another holiday but THEIR SPECIAL DAY.
100% proceeds of both events will be for the educational support of the children of our fallen heroes – the HERO Foundation Scholars. On these days ‘YOU can be a HERO too.
